Redundant Internet Connections
Our servers are connected to the Internet via fully redundant, multiple OC12, OC3 and DS3 Fiber Optic Internet connections. We are connected through AT&T, AboveNet, Savvis, Verio, Global Crossing, Level 3, Time Warner, Telecom and Cogent .
When our competitors claim that they're connected to the Internet through multiple T3s, look closely. Chances are, their "multiple T3s" are sold to them by a single provider, which means that if one of their routers goes down, their entire connection goes down!
This is not the case with us. We have multiple full Transit backbone connections so that, if one goes down, the others can reroute the traffic in seconds while we restore the downed connection–all without the slightest interruption in performance.

Redundant Routers
We route traffic from our server systems to our redundant Fiber Optic connections through redundant routers.Redundant network ores in multiple data centers means that if a router or high-level network appliance goes down for any reason, there is no loss of service.  Gigabit cross-connects between multiple data centers assures that data moves quickly. And if any one data center were to experience network connectivity issues, it would simply route outgoing data through other centers.
If a router goes down or if a hub goes down your Virtual Server will stay online.

The virtual server system was created by "multiplexing" or partitioning the root physical server into many independent virtual servers. Only the physical hardware is controlled and maintained by us. All of the software- web, ftp, and pop services, as well as the SMTP gateway is completely independent, affording you complete flexibility, control, and power over how your internet services behave. This gives you the ability to configure and customize your own virtual server.

Operating System
All new servers are built up on an internally modified version of BSDI UNIX 4.3. We have modified the operating system and many core components to support a fully virtual environment.

Server Software
Our current server software is based on an internally modified version of the Apache Web Server. This system includes SSL and PHP (ZEND). We also run fully virtualized versions of SMTP, IMAP, POP3, and FTP Services.

Unique Software Features
We have a complete and unique set of command-line server administration tools that allow our users to configure options on their servers with ease from the command prompt. These tools make adding, listing, removing, and editing user accounts simple and intuitive. We have also introduced our exclusive new Virtual Administrator Web tool - a Java-based interface to our custom command line tools that allow users to configure their virtual servers entirely from a Web browser.

FTP Server
Anonymous FTP, Multi-user FTP with file system quotas, "directory" messages, "welcome" messages, anti-warez features, and user secure directories.

POP Server
Create unlimited POP3 e-mail accounts

IMAP Server
Create unlimited IMAP e-mail accounts

SMTP Gateway
Each Virtual Server comes with its own sendmail.cf and aliases file. Full support for autoreplies and mail lists. Anti-Spam features included.

Security Hardened
All known security patches are applied as soon as they are released (or even before they are released) by OS vendor.

Insecure Programs
Potentially insecure (suid) programs are removed or disabled if not needed on system. Necessary potentially insecure programs are compiled with runtime, bounds checking are reviewed for security problems.

Hacking Alert System
Custom Hacking Alert System (HAS) which immediately pages systems administrators.
